{"id":28346,"date":"2024-06-04T09:07:49","date_gmt":"2024-06-04T03:22:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/livedang.com\/?p=28346"},"modified":"2024-06-04T09:07:49","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T03:22:49","slug":"lumbini-governments-new-policies-and-programmes-aim-to-discourage-migration-from-hill-to-terai-child-marriage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livedang.com\/?p=28346","title":{"rendered":"Lumbini government\u2019s new policies and programmes aim to discourage migration from hill to Terai, child marriage"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"uk-card uk-card-default uk-card-body\">\n<div class=\"uk-position-relative uk-margin-small-bottom\">\n<p class=\"uk-margin-remove single-title\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Tulasipur (Dang), June 3: The Lumbini province government has presented its policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2081-82 (2024-25) before the Province Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-entry uk-margin-top\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Province Chief Amik Sherchan presented them in the Assembly today.<\/p>\n<p>The government has pledged a feasibility study to establish a community childcare centre at four locations: Ghorahi, Lumbini, Butwal, and Nepalgunj within the province.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, the Province Chief said the concept aims to retain working women who are likely to quit their jobs after having a baby due to their prescribed roles of taking care of the child.<\/p>\n<p>The province government assures of coming up with a 10-year strategy to combat early marriage and make the province free from child marriage by 2030 AD.
